Fun fact: he lives on the same island in the PNW I did, Orcas Island. He almost died there in fact when he crashed his plan at the local airport.

They lived on the water not far from Eastsound, actually pretty close to said airport. However I did go to Orkila once for a week of “outdoor education” as part of our 6th grade curriculum.
