It feels like units of measurement that don’t totally make sense right? When you think about some of these things they just don’t seem logical

yep. I would start with the weekend. no more weekend. we find balance through another way.

Oh that’s an interesting thought! Never really considered what life would look like with no weekend

the system that i created and love: - 96 days of hard work. kids go to school. parents work. not stressful work. creative work. there is balance. there is abundance. we work hard, and we also rest hard - 21 days of vacation from this. reflecting. harvesting the fruits of the first 96 days and preparing for the next I would love to reinvent the calendar tbh. let’s start everything again

I’d be all in on something like that, make the work days a little shorter to have more family time in the afternoon and evenings, when you step back and try to think of these simple things differently, it certainly is eye opening the possibilities we can come up with that would be better suited for all

yep. weekends bring imbalance imo. rn its like 130% weekdays and 60% weekends why not 100% presence?

And those long breaks would be far more enjoyable and memorable than a day off here and there, a week off during the summer etc

yep. like imagine fully unplugging for 21 days. and then coming back. we need more rhythm and cadence imho, and the week is a spirit killer (but necessary for the world, as it is today, to work - because the world today is spirit killer)
