Do you listen to Joe Rogan at all? I loved his take on muchrooms and weed and how all the cars and music and architecture was so much better before the government made these natural “drugs” felonies. I believe people were more creative years ago and more free and that’s why we are still so drawn to old vehicles buttttt we are going down a rabbit hole now lol

i do from time to time but not sure i can make the leap on that particular point. 1) we're not the only country that designs and creates 2) there's some amazing architectural designs I've seen in the recent years that while aren't made of stone, have some dope af designs (i.e. Little Island project in NYC) - it's more around cost to build vs lack of creativity. As someone who's been in massive development projects in the past, sometimes the cool $hit we want gets nixed due to costs 3) creativity runs deep but where the issue typically resides is in mass distribution which I would agree is typically bland and catering to dollar extraction vs the art, so to find amazing things we typically need to look at those trying to make it vs those that have 👊
