There was a nice little park bench, all right next to a volunteer fire department. Nice little setting. I could tell I was disrupting some geese from doing their thing so I didn’t stick around long 😂

Yup, according to my Fishbrain app, largemouth and smallmouth. Should give us a nice fight if we can get them nibbling! I took them fishing for the first time last summer and they LOVED IT. So we’ve scouted out a few spots to try this year 🙌🏻

I hope so too lol the one time I took them fishing they caught 3/4 each. Mainly just sunfish and bluegills, but one of my kids caught a little smallmouth. They haven’t experienced fishing where you don’t catch anything 😂

Thanks Ava! Hopefully we can catch some fish when we come back lol, really peaceful spot though, even had a nice park bench you can sit on. I didn’t sit though, there were some geese nearby who weren’t thrilled with my presence lol
