Tezos is currently working on an L2 that will allow for industry-level speeds without compromising its decentralization or security or transparency. The idea of the "enshrined" rollup is potentially a game changer because the rest of the industry struggles with mass fragmentation and confusion - which erodes trust and leads to bad user experience. We're on top of things, here. 🙂
