hard truths:

1. crypto isn’t growing, in fact it’s more cringe than ever because of the new admin embracing it / $trump

2. it’s not realistic to generate a full-time sustainable income on farcaster, $degen and $higher were anomaly wealth events

3. majority of the world doesn’t think in terms of markets 24/7

Agree on 2 and 3, always has pretty much been true.

On 1 - even among people who are super pro or anti Trump or into crypto that I know irl, nobody cares about Trump’s coin stuff. I do not think this will matter 1 year from now

History, tech stuff, SEO/marketing, shitposting, etc. etc.

The Trump coin stuff is dumb and I wish he would never talk about it again.

But it’s mostly being used as an excuse to persecute crypto. by people who already hated it, or an excuse to persecute Trump, by people who already hated him

Before the current admin embracing it, it’s not like crypto had a completely neutral perception. 

The biases people had just continued, largely unaffected by Trump admin.

I mean I don’t agree with “cringe”
in the original post, its not just a net positive or negative polling thing, it has a deeper meaning of what is boring, old, exhausted vs what is new, exciting, avant garde.

But when did cringe = good, I don’t understand that part
