1. crypto isn’t growing, in fact it’s more cringe than ever because of the new admin embracing it / $trump

2. it’s not realistic to generate a full-time sustainable income on farcaster, $degen and $higher were anomaly wealth events

3. majority of the world doesn’t think in terms of markets 24/7

Agree on 2 and 3, always has pretty much been true.

On 1 - even among people who are super pro or anti Trump or into crypto that I know irl, nobody cares about Trump’s coin stuff. I do not think this will matter 1 year from now

History, tech stuff, SEO/marketing, shitposting, etc. etc.

so hard to keep up with American trends

cringe = good is the concept of just being yourself

crypto culture is cringe because it's real, it doesn't slot into normie world. it carves out it's own place with each block produced 

cringe but real 

the new and avant garde is actually algorithms and people's reactions. that's really cringe

I mean I don’t agree with “cringe”
in the original post, its not just a net positive or negative polling thing, it has a deeper meaning of what is boring, old, exhausted vs what is new, exciting, avant garde.

But when did cringe = good, I don’t understand that part
