Over the past few days I found out I was expecting our fourth child, and within a couple of days miscarried and lost the baby. Many of you will know the deep, visceral pain this brings at any stage.

We’ve gone through this 5 times now over the last ten years, however we are lucky to have 3 healthy children. It doesn’t make it easier, but it does bring a sense of gratitude. My heart goes out to anyone else who has experienced/ will experience this. It is very common but very silent.

I hope that my speaking about it brings peace to anyone reading this that is suffering/has suffered in silence to let you know you’re not alone. I can speak to myself from the other side of this and I know that things get better. I am strong and resilient.
