i'm finding it increasingly difficult to want to be present on socials for anything less than a genuine dialogue or support for work that is pushing the community forward

i'm in a group chat on twitter in which 90% of the interactions are just people saying gm

which like, that's great i want everyone to have a great day, but holy shit if you zoom out and just see days of people continually typing GM. it's actually insane.

Man, I feel this. lol. I actually do the Gm thing each day in a specific channel designated for it in a discord group just to show I’m still around even if I haven’t chatted in a while. It’s a small group of close friends though and the other channels are very active so it’s not just gms and nothing else.

But yeah, when a channel is supposed to be for sharing and chatting but ends up as a gm channel, it’s time leave. lol
