My Morning Routine (As a person on the ADHD path) 1. 5am wake up, dog duty - no phone for an hour. I do some affirmations while walking my dogs. Followed by a simple QiGong practice. 2. Tidying up house - helps quieten my brain & also gives me a sense of accomplishment. 3. 30-min on the spin cycle. Pumps blood through body & triggers a release of dopamine & serotonin, to improve mood. This is important because I often wake up with debilitating anxiety. 4. BPC (Espresso with Ghee) + 5-HTP. My biohack to increase serotonin, while also keeping me focused and less agitated. Allows me to be hyper-productive ADHD looks very different in women. More than the hyperactivity & lack of focus that men with ADHD experience, women face symptoms of anxiety and depression. They often have racing thoughts & at times space out. To mask these symptoms, many women end up being high-achievers. Losing out to peers, is not an option. Because, that leads to more depression & anxiety and self-blame Anyone else on this ride?

Thank you so much for this authentic and open share. I'm all about doing /innerwork work so I appreciate hearing how people set themselves up for a day ahead. How many years did it take you to reach this point of knowing yourself what I perceive is soooo well.

Oh years and years of experimenting and defining. But I guess my interest in biohacking really helped to find solutions. I don’t think this routine is fixed though, seems like it will ever-evolve along with me.
