It's such a individual thing really. Anyone with ADHD will have different symptoms. I always question, why? If we can explore & understand the environment that we grew up in then I believe we can learn to work with these 'symptoms' What do you think? My understanding is based around the work of Gabor Maté “ADHD is not an inherited disease; it is a response to stress. It is rooted in the early environment. The child is absorbing stresses that are there in the parenting environment, which is not the parent’s fault. Parents are doing their best. But what the child picks up is that the world is not safe, so tuning out becomes a way of coping.” Gabor Maté
