finished reading Dostoyevsky’s brothers karamazov. I’ve read crime and punishment, the gambler, and notes from the underground in the past. The brothers karamzov has elements from all the novels making it his best work. not sure if my translation was the right one but was well written. I’ve read half of the idiot and got bored, but will probably rearead it after i look into white nights.

main character myshkin from the idiot has similar qualities as alyosha in brothers karamzov. And I noticed a similar romance pattern between the characters in the gambler vs. Iliya’s relationship with Katya in the brothers karamzov.

I haven’t read the gambler neither I have I the idiot
