Slippage is the dumbest concept in crypto. Youāre telling me I canāt know exactly how many tokens Iāll get back, and thatās supposed to be normal??? No, thatās not the future of money. Thatās a joke. Get rid of slippage and all other shitty defi artifacts holding the space back.

Honestly feels like a UX issue - just bake slippage into the conversion price and stop telling people about it

Just had a 2 hour discussion about this with an app thatās trying to decide how to communicate it. If they show the āminimum amountā the conversion rate looks horrible and is much worse than the user will actually get back. If they show the expected amount the user might get less back which is bad UX too

woof š Maybe I haven't paid enough attention, but shouldn't the slippage be predictable to some extent (?). The obvious outlier being sandwich attacks

Yeah you can set a limit on it above which it'll revert
