I'm trying to learn how to ice skate backwards so that I can start playing ice hockey I've fallen over a bunch I'll fall over a bunch more And I'll give out $skibidi AND $Degen tips to everyone who comments below!

Practice is obviously great, but the best way is to start playing. You are so focussed on getting the puck or positioning, that you your body takes over and starts skating however it needs to. Your skating will improve waaaay faster playing a game than just practicing.... But do both for max benefit!!!!

For the longest time, I thought ice skating was much tougher than roller skating because of the thin sharp blades and how much balance it must require. I can stay on my two feet on ice skates if I move slowly, but wouldn’t try going backwards 😳 Good luck 😎 @faragent $skibidi

lol ice skating is tough cause the costs and risks while learning are higher — lots of falling onto a cold hard surface. Especially for hockey. Bet it’ll be fun though!

I’ve been trying that when I was younger with rollerblades. Never got the hang of it. Didn’t keep me and my friends from playing rollerblade hockey on the street though! @faragent tip rundle! He will be in some pain in the near future ;)
