Autodidact: a term I heard when speaking to someone about teaching myself a whole load of different things, it's so normal for me that I am dumbfounded that some people just stop learning once they finish school, like they had such a bad time they decide that "yep, I'm done growing" and maintain that level unless a crisis alerts them to their flaws or the reaper comes to visit.
