💯 beautifully put. It takes a lot of self reflection to turn the 0 to a 1. Happened to me right around 30yo. The cup is always full now 🍵

I think of this internal value as a required base to receive all other forms of external value. 

It turns a 0 to a 1

Without it, all external value is multiplied by 0 & thus unable to fill one’s cup.

With it, that 1 can fill a cup all on its own, & further goes on to substantiate any external value that is added.

The sources of Value are limitless & often unique to every individual (outside of the standard that is Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs) — but certainly to your point, many of us fail to take advantage of the welllspring that is the intrinsic value that exists within!
