Important for the left to realize what the right realized after reading "Sapiens" in 2011. Human rights are just a story those in power tell when it serves them. 

"There are no moral victories. The important question is not to ask why the world is silent to your suffering, but how you allowed yourself to become so weak in the first place, and what you are going to do about it now.⁠⁠"
