memecoins set crypto back 3 years but i’m glad 800 people made a few $100k at the expense of 250,000+ people this is one of the biggest misunderstandings about crypto: if you build it, they will come they won’t, not anymore because you, as a leader, leaned into garbage over & over & over again & more than 95% of people who followed you lost money they are not coming back, ever good luck with the onboarding tho [insert meme: well if isn’t the consequences of my own actions]

truly a cancer. not a single person i know who doesn’t live & breathe this stuff likes crypto. my entire extended family, work circles, outside network, friends—all despise crypto & exclusively look at it as a financial succubus, “you’ve been around for more than ten years & have done nothing but grift” this isn’t a solvable problem; this is the entire worlds deep rooted & reaffirmed perception abstraction isn’t a feature but a necessity; even then, we have to work twice as hard as every other industry because of our very own doings still to this day the majority of this space thinks it’s a good thing; of course it’s always a good thing for those who can profit off it
