Hard for me to take anyone seriously shaming Farcaster for having bots in their DAU when every social platform includes bots in their DAU.

Sure, but there are also bot networks on all the big social networks.

I've been doing some field research on farcaster 'bots' this week and it's pretty complex. at this point I'm almost sure there are legit click farms with sub paid humans clicking a bunch of different smartphones everyday with dozens (or even hundreds) of different sybil accounts trying to farm incentives and airdrops.
