imagine I just woke up from a coma and missed the last 2 years of llms 

i’m non technical and want to build and train my own llms

Where would you guide me (e.g. should I go to chatgpt or claude?) What’s easiest to learn? And who has the best resources to keep up?

I would let you first touch chatgpt and all of the features so you can get an idea on how a LLM work. You don’t necessarily need a guide as I would say experiences > reading 

Also it’s free and you can do so much with it

Next I would suggest going to Amjad and learn Replit

It’s easier then Cursor and it will be a great way for you to learn how to bring your own software to life. Plus he has tutorials that you can learn 

At this point you’ll be feeling confident on what you really want to do. If it’s a wrapper then you already have the knowledge 

If you really want to make your own LLM you have to suck up, learn math and just follow this GitHub
