Sometimes people forget there's a really simple fix for democrats on the crypto issue. Stop being anti-crypto. Be pro-crypto. This is a wedge issue because the democrats made it one. Complete self own. So...just stop doing it. Democrats, ungensler yourselves.

I honestly think the "anti-crypto" democrats are just the clowns that were blindly following SBF, and in their embarrassment of getting in bed with an obvious scammer, over-correcting. My senator, Ron Wyden, has always championed privacy tech, including cryptocurrencies, and worked extensively to ensure hard limits on FISA and mass surveillance. To me, his values align perfectly with core Democratic party values, despite the weird new agenda items being pushed by Warren etc.

I don’t think the Democrats are united on being anti-crypto. It may be that the anti-crypto Dems have had the most power recently, but it’s changing and I’m hopeful they’re moving towards pro-crypto.
