To me this is the one distinction that makes Ethereum be and stay the dominant player

Has in the past and looks good for the future

The hardcore focus on L1 decentralization proved to be a maximum stable, trustable solution that is programmable just enough so we can do what we want

People forget L2‘s settle to L1

Agree that, decentralization is the core  of blockchain.
