"How has the culture of Silicon Valley changed since you started Product Hunt?"

Product Hunt started in 2013. It was the perfect time as mobile reached mainstream with a ton of uncovered ground to explore. There was even more optimism in tech, before it became so political and heated. Fortunately the energy has shifted more positively in the last year but 2016-2020 was an especially heated time period.

I think the core of Silicon Valley's culture remains the same. It's more egalitarian than most industries and attracts some of the most curious, optimistic people in the world.
