For the first time last week, MEV tips on Solana are virtually equal to the SOL issuance received by delegators.

Don’t be surprised if it goes above this week.

Under current market conditions, MEV tips and block rewards (REV) are trending towards going above issuance as a whole.

Why is this important?

With Solana improvement proposals taking steps towards distributing these rewards IN-protocol (SIMD-0096 and 0123), and changing the level of SOL inflation (SIMD-0199), these datapoints are important to consider, especially in various market conditions.
