Well that trend reversed, didn't it? šŸ˜… SOL issuance to delegators more than doubled MEV tips last week. In terms of rewards, rewards via issuance are dominant again on Solana (69% of all rewards last week). @solana

A week since Timely Vote Credits went live on Solana. Good to see major geographies below or near the 2 slot latency threshold for full vote rewards. Would be great to see this be consistent over time.

It's early but decentralized builder, BuilderNet, is already delivering the second highest block value for Ethereum validators (priority fees + MEV shared). Basically delivering a relatively high amount of validator rewards at the execution layer. Worth watching how this evolves. The Timely Vote Credits (TVC) upgrade on Solana allows the protocol to be aware of the timeliness of a validatorā€™s slot votes and actively incentivize it. It is also very relevant for delegators as well. While block rewards and MEV tips are consistently hitting all time highs, voting rewards from SOL issuance still form a significant chunk of validator and delegator rewards. (1st graph) Not only that, these are in-protocol meaning validators are obligated to share these with their delegators based on the former's commission rates. (2nd graph) Delegators get around 70% of issuance, which at current prices can be USD 90M per week.

Why is this important? With Solana improvement proposals taking steps towards distributing these rewards IN-protocol (SIMD-0096 and 0123), and changing the level of SOL inflation (SIMD-0199), these datapoints are important to consider, especially in various market conditions.

For the first time last week, MEV tips on Solana are virtually equal to the SOL issuance received by delegators. Donā€™t be surprised if it goes above this week. Under current market conditions, MEV tips and block rewards (REV) are trending towards going above issuance as a whole. @solana

Quite a mix of profiles amongst the top operators in terms of restaking market share (30d data). - Some have validator sets (nearly) fully dedicated to restaking - Most have 97% effectiveness for their restaked fleet - Average APRs but there are some above the network average explorer.rated.network/restaking

Just launched a native restaking page for Rated: explorer.rated.network/restaking ā™»ļø āœØ Besides a dedicated operator page on Native Restaking participation, we've enabled counters on restaking penetration on the network as a whole. Learn more here: https://t.co/w4hFUkSEdj

Made a @dune.eth dashboard on the Ethereum blob market with a focus on economics related to validators. Link: https://dune.com/rplust/ethereum-blob-market Early days for blobs so looking to build this up with a focus on validators and overall network health. Suggestions on what to look at? šŸ˜„

Played around with data on @dune.eth again and made a dashboard on the Ethereum blob market with a focus on economics related to validators. Link: https://dune.com/rplust/ethereum-blob-market Definitely WIP but looking to build this up with a focus on validators and overall network health.

Will builders *simply* add blob txns in the blocks they build despite how these can potentially affect block propagation times? Blob users have to make it worth it for the builders.

There are a handful of Polygon validators that: - Give their delegators 5% APRs and charge no commission rate - Near perfect effectiveness - Have less than 2% of overall network penetration Three main aspects covered: rewards, performance, and decentralization. @sassal.eth On episode #734 of the Refuel, you mentioned that delegated proof of stake is "fake" staking/not real staking (17:22). Would you be willing to go deeper into this? Just curious as to the reasoning behind your perspective on delegated proof of stake. :)

Once blobs are live on Ethereum, want to do you want to see on rated.network about blobs and the blob fee market?
