Ok, you orally invite me to an event happening 2-4 weeks ahead. And I said: Cool! But until you send me the calendar invite by email, it's not in my calendar. TL;DR I confirm my attendance only when I get the email invitation (yes I know it's stupid)

100% feel this for work stuff honestly a bit shocking how often people propose doing stuff but then never follow up with an invite/reminder 😔
