Please understand this comes from a place of good faith, I am seeking to understand. How does crypto solve the housing crisis, or even service the concept of a mortgage which gives young people massive tax advantaged leverage? All for making a level playing field but this doesn't seem very grounded to specific issues

Additionally this generation has bountiful access to lower cost trading, better execution, tax loss harvesting. There are tons of options for people to access the single largest generator of wealth at almost no cost. I don't think crypto solves these problems, it solves other more boring but important problems

Look at farcaster, it has almost nothing to do with crypto beyond some very specific choices surrounding ownership. Everything is about choosing the best execution and it is destroying the competition.

More importantly it reaches beyond the insular sphere of crypto and onboards people no matter their interest in the underlying tech. They put the customer first which so few apps in crypto do or are even able to do, they focus on the why instead of the how.

Happy to be shown how I am wrong but at this point I think people are deluding themselves by ignoring a lot of the advantages crypto has while larping as a replacement for anything money has touched
