Observing the pivot from Severance to White Lotus to Black Mirror

Honestly people want to return to this. Shared cultural moments are fun. However I think having niche content for everyone is great BUT it can also be highly isolating. 

TL;DR I don't know how to feel on this one because it's a set of legitimately hard tradeoffs

Just watch it and decide for yourself? Doesn't feel complicated tbh. It's like my GOT hot take that it could have been so much more than generalized fantasy troupes draped over a political drama but alas.... But people keep saying it's the greatest show ever.

That's why the bond doesn't feel as authentic -- previously there were 3 channels all airing the same thing at the same time. By no choice, you were on the same page

Now, it's like am I buying into the Severance Apple TV psyop, or is it actually a good show that everyone coalesced around?
