the LA fires are kind of like a wild prophetic, poetic, sublime manifestation of the macro environment like culturally and geopolitically this fire has been in progress for awhile. and now it’s physically manifested in this massive violent way the peak liberal bastion and ultimate media machine is literally burning down, not only in our cultural structures, but in the real world too the attached photo made me think this thought somehow this feels like an inflection point i say this with sadness, but as always i remain optimistic in the human spirit to overcome any hardship California will be different now though

Would SF be the peak liberal bastion? Like LA is very left friendly but I don't think its PEAK liberal. This doesn't consider any of Oregon or Seattle either let alone Vermont either which are all in contention too.
