I don't need a full bag. What are your recommended must haves woods and irons?

I’ve hit a 5 hybrid that I really liked and a 3 wood. Thanks for the recs!

A good 9 club starter set up:

Driver
4 hybrid or 5 wood.
6, 7, 8, 9 iron
Pitching wedge, sand wedge
Putter

12-14 clubs not needed when getting started.
Could even go to 7 clubs by ditching the odd irons so: 6, 8, pw, sw.

I just got a set of ping G430s. I love them. Very forgiving. I've also heard great things about Takomo who sell direct for pretty cheap.
