My contrarian is that the vast majority of people that are pro “decentralization” are actually just into the current thing and would have chanted “centralized platforms” if this was 2010.

This is totally fine btw. Great things happen when a crowd gets behind 1 idea, but the moral superiority is a turnoff.

My 2 cents: Most people >99% don’t know how to self custody properly in decentralised systems. Yet the existing people in crypto think only the smart ones should survive here. Instead they should work on making self custody accessible to everyone. This reeks of moral superiority to me.
