Totally aligned with the concept of a bonus. This is what retroactive funding should be...an incentive to go above and beyond. One related idea is having a regular Demo Day where people present what they have completed. Everyone watching the presentations gets a budget of tokens to allocate across projects (like an investor) and the bonus tokens are distributed accordingly

i really don't think we should reinvent the wheel with most of this stuff, YC etc. has pioneered a ton of great social/admin infra to follow

So much this. Adapting existing things that have worked rather than starting from scratch on everything will have the benefits of building on previous experience and people already being familiar with the models
