New /flows direction 🤠In order to allocate capital, we need to measure impact. In order to measure impact, we need truthful data. Put another way, we need to make it incredibly costly to fake impact. So much so, that the only economically rational thing to do is to act honestly and build for Nouns. We require periodic updates from builders. Different verification methods aim to make it harder to maintain a lie over time. But we still need to rewards investigators to research, spot, and challenge liars. There's currently no explicit reward to do this, outside of the implicit incentive of being a TCR token holder.

TCR token holders currently share 10% of the budget for curating the list of grantees. But all token holders receive this reward, so there's a free-rider problem. New idea: - TCR curators stake their tokens on grantees - Only staked tokens earn rewards - Builder salary is withheld if they don't meet staking minimums - Successful challenges earn the challenger all staked tokens + withheld salary Now, anyone can earn a significant chunk of money for identifying scammers/bad grantees.

Bitcoin solved the double spend problem with a puzzle that miners had to solve to secure the network. /flows will solve the double work problem with a new puzzle: identifying fake impact and bad grantees.
