Also, extension wallets already have access to your entire webpage, and most are implementing this as opt-in per website

If the wallet is open source - like Backpack - then yes. Phantom is closed source, so you’d have to trust them.

But again - all extensions can do this already if they want to, including Ethereum wallets.

Are you 100% confident none of that goes back to apps as “analytics”?
