some book series are so well-written and intricately interconnected that, as soon as you finish reading them, you want to experience their characters and story all over again had this three times now: with Harry Potter when I was younger, Dune a year ago, and Foundation more recently

What do you think about the lord of the rings series and a song of ice and fire series? I think those are far ahead of Harry Potter in terms of character development and plot twists

would read ice and fire if george decides to finish the series, not sure i want to read it without being sure it has an ending, tolkien is on my reading list

Alright, both George Martin and Tolkien are the best when it comes to fantasy. I think he will eventually finish the books.
