Cool. The Robots stories are really fun. Better than the later Foundation books imo. Elijah and the detective plots are some of his best work since it fits well with his very calculated prose. The other ones (pebble in the sky, etc) are good but not as memorable. Have you read The Last Question or Nightfall? Those are both top 5 imo.

yea liked the foundation prequels more than the sequels, so have high expectations for the robot series haven't read them yet, they are both standalone books?

The Last Question is a short story Nightfall is a short story that was adapted into a book, I recommend reading the book since it’s just as good and you won’t ruin the spoiler
