Has anyone been to either the Azores or the Canary Islands? Worth a dedicated trip?

Went to the Azores and would recommend
- swimming with dolphins in the ocean
- beautiful walk on one side of the island around a lake

Also went to La Palma (canary islands) and would recommend 
- volcano route walk
- going up the highest mountain at night and see a ton of falling stars
- visit Gran Telescopio Canarias (GTC), the largest optical telescope in the world
- check out black sand beaches

Also did Tenerife but that was with friends to party and chill and has a lot more tourists, isn’t that beautiful imo
