Why do you think is good? just the existence of seed phrase sharing functionality, even if encrypted, significantly expands the potential of a hack

Sounds like they are doing on-device Shamir secret sharing with lots more steps. Might be ok? I'm not sure what kind of audit would satisfy me that the ENTIRE SYSTEM had been implemented correctly, END to END.
