Similar to others, had a truly terrible experience trying to swap on ethereum over the weekend. Failed transactions still costing me around $200. Having to enable "Flashbots" setting on Rainbow. What naming! Imagine explaining all this to a new person who's just set up a self custody wallet. 🤦♂️

i was a new person not long ago and had to learn it all. i guess tax fillings are thus complex. letting go off several crucial security upsides in the name of simplicity causes robberies. but account abstraction will kinda ease it. However, i prefer titanium wallets and PoW over the human element.

yeah one hears this a lot. if the trade off of security is that the technology is unusable to the average person, maybe it's just a fundamentally broken idea and not worth it then

While true, they often have no alternatives to achieve the same ends (as they do with crypto). For instance, if I want to drive a car, I have to learn to drive a car; if i want easy banking/payments, there are alternatives. In any case, I don't think crypto has reached the best state of UX that it can
