One interesting thing that Lens has is the collect feature. It can work like that counter. I like it a lot because all the possibilities that brings to creators directly in their social media. Have you considered anything like that for Farcaster?

It id something that you save as an NFT into your wallet. People are publishing images, short stories, poems and music songs that you can directly collect. On top of that you can put a price so you can support creators. I think it is an interesting way to explore and see where it goes.

It sounds like a fundamentally new behavior. A like is a lightweight form of public support, I don't necessarily want to collect that post.

seems like it's pushing more things on-chain in the form of bookmarks; not just art that you've purchased but anything you care about is represented and queryable on-chain. at first i questioned why anyone would collect posts on mirror, but i think the sentiment is the same.
