great convo in /djs gc on where to publish mixes just tried out youtube. it recognized the copyrighted tracks, but none of the content owners opted to take it down. seems like most don't. they'd have a claim on the revenue if i were to monetize – not too bad net-net also, it tagged a bunch of tracks incorrectly lol

soundcloud's policy is a lot more restrictive + known to take the entire mix down by default, even if a few mins are in violation YT at least offers the option to trim/replace/mute that track rather than pulling down the whole thing

basically feels like YT = more willing to compromise, SC = less wiggle room (literally fewer tools)
