great convo in /djs gc on where to publish mixes just tried out youtube. it recognized the copyrighted tracks, but none of the content owners opted to take it down. seems like most don't. they'd have a claim on the revenue if i were to monetize – not too bad net-net also, it tagged a bunch of tracks incorrectly lol

out of 17 tracks, they tagged 4 incorrectly (~24%). understandable bc they're unofficial bootlegs / mashups. but interesting to know that some copyright owners may get paid out incorrectly there isn't a clear action to manage this. i could dispute it, but i don't know what the correct attribution would be for bootlegs

AppleMusic is by far the very best option. Shazam under the hood correctly tags everything and right holders all get paid.
