I don’t mind the driving. It’s the traffic I try to avoid.

I always advise people to not move to LA if they’re not interested in driving.

This is my go-to workaround my aversion to traffic. And I’ll reach out to people I know in that part of town to meet up. Like @davidtphung 😉

I would go before traffic and post up at a coffee shop or lunch, or do some shopping at a speciality store that side, likely grab a workout at a vibey studio with a shower … then roll up zero stress to dinner. 

Drink early or not too much if you need your car for the above. Uber otherwise. ✔️
