Would government be better off, if we had the opportunity to vote either directly or for representatives in every aspect the government does? Ex. USAID rep, FBI rep, fire department rep, local fire dept rep, water control rep, police, highway rep, etc.

I think that direct democracy would be more practical to achieve in our networked era bu don’t know whether or not it would lead to better outcomes then representative democracy

Both have their own problems. With direct democracy, you have people voting on topics they’re not informed on, and citizens have to be active at all times. With representative democracy, there exists no opportunity to participate yourself. give opportunity for both, and make representation more fluid (no term constraints)

Oh I see I thought at first you meant no term limits but now I understand better and think it would be a interesting thing for terms to be able to end as soon as the person in this or that role lost majority voter support
