I was discussing this with my crypto ecomemeology professor*, and the problem with these kinds of mega rugs is the liquidity goes to non-degens. That's a net loss to the ecosystem. The memecoin ecosystem is a delicate balance of noobs, degens and whales. These invasive rugger species upset that balance and risk causing blockchain extinction level events.
