You remember when you deleted your LastPass account after the breach and details of their terrible security design and practices became public knowledge?

Turns out LastPass didn't remember to delete your account afterall. WTF. Quite possibly the most incompetent company I've ever come across.

They’re so frustrating. Incompetent is a good descriptor. I switched to BitWarden after issues related to the LP breach

I did too, and I deleted my account. Based on the email... I wonder if by logging back in to check that it was deleted, that somehow undid the deletion?! Ridiculous!

That's what it says in the email! That if you login now, as an inactive user, it'll stop your account from being deleted! What's the bet that they don't delete your account immediately either...

That would be really insane if they were using the dumb Facebook feature of automatically restoring an account on login. But guess we can’t put it past them… totally ridiculous
