I think you have to look at the daily boundaries determined by your timezone -- see my FAQ for a table of times

What happens if the dune allowance data updates 1h after reset? Is that allowance correct? Or should I just use the frame as reference

The frames are just an estimate, most of them seem to load the Dune data indirectly and are even more out of date than Dune. @nikolaii.eth is working on his own infra to crunch all the data himself, reproducing the algos so that he has accurate data... I was planning on this too, but now I dunno if I can compete 😅
