Let's start a Sunday /dev flamewar I regularly see people on HN saying "well ackchyually, AI is DUMB because I asked GPT 3 this <irrelevant brainteaser> and I <flipped the X and Y variables> to trick it, and it gave me the wrong answer... lol I'm so smart". I'm currently paying for: - $10 JetBrains AI Assistant - $20 ChatGPT 4o - $20 Claude Sonnet - $20 Cursor Pro If you don't want to try finding the value in new technology can you *really* call yourself a developer? 🎙️

what are you using for jetbrains? i was looking for something yesterday for webstorm is it simply called AI assistant? in which case i’ll look it up!

Can I add that I pay also for venice.ai and I find it pretty useful. It is not the best It is not the worst It does most of what I need done much like the others. Worth a try. And yes. Ai is dumb at the moment. But as you stated with good prompting you can get a huge library of data under your fingerprints worth exploiting It can be a good assistant and do things for me I was never able to do alone

I rely completely on AI too. (Even for this English text...) At this point, they're not copilots for me anymore, they're the main pilots!
