yes, lots of folks saying you can't build good, fast react native apps. and I agree in that it is not easy, I am definitly not there. I just see people 100x better then me do it

Here's an idea. A hackathon. We provide a JSON of 10k casts on a home feed, and goal is to render the casts roughly similar to Warpcast with infinite scroll and with animated PFPs/GIFs/videos. Apps ranked by UI fidelity and smoothness, and memory usage/stability while scrolling.
