Actually these bots are created by those same people who used to farm $degen back in the early days (Season 1-3), how it can benefit them is thay they are using these accounts to get engagement for their main account(s), whether these bots can make $$$ or not is not important as the main account is the main winner.π€«

They are using a strategy called the "matrix operation" (η©ι΅ε·θΏθ₯ translated from Chinese, which I'm not sure whether it's created in China or innovation from some marketing gurus from the West). The logics are to: 1) minimise the risk of having just 1 account in case it got nerfed or banned. 2) through trials and errors to see whether they can create another huge following accounts or Power Badge holder. 3) create a KOC (Key Opinion Consumer) instead of a huge following KOL account, which is harder nowadays as compared to the good old days as what they've learned from Tiktok. For them, the cost of running multiple accounts with a modified ModemPool device for $5/year is much lower than having to pay for a blue badge account on X. It's like the shitcoins (some called it memecoinsπ ) that are created every minute on Solana (or Base/BSC) that are just to do P&D, if 1 token can make an average of $10k/day, how about 100s of them?
